8 Marker measurements The two outside fields display the instantaneous average power or
maximum (or minimum) power at Time Markers 1 and 2. (Marker 1 is
on the left; Marker 2 is on the right.) The field above the centerline may
display either the ratio of the two power levels, the difference of the
two power levels or the average power in the waveform segment
located between the Time Markers. It can also show the peak-to-
average ratio between the markers. See Section 4.12 for a complete
description of marker functions.
9 Vertical Markers There are two vertical markers that allow level measurements at
specific times relative to the trigger event. . See Section 4.12 for a
complete description of marker functions
10 Parameters Displays a table of measurement status parameters for the currently
selected channel or any selected automatic measurement.
11 Active Marker Indicator This indicator shows the marker that is active in the marker menu and
is the measurement at the marker with the triangle located on the
vertical markers in the waveform display.
12 Time Base Limits These fields show the timebase limits. In the pulse mode the time is
relative to the trigger event.
13 GPIB Status The small field at the bottom of the menu column is
the GPIB status indicator.
Blank - GPIB is not active and in Local state.
REM. Indicates the 4500B is in the Remote state.
LSN. Indicates the 4500B is addressed to Listen.
.
TLK. Indicates the 4500B is addressed to Talk.
SRQ. Indicates the 4500B is requesting service from
the bus controller.
