Menu Item Function
(Type) Selections (SCPI cmd)
Range Pulse, Mod & Stat Selects the low or high sensitivity range
(Toggle) 5 V, 50 V
The 5 V range is for input signals that do
not exceed 5 volts peak-to-peak amplitude.
Overrange signals will be clamped. This
range is used for most logic signals.
The 50 V range is for input signals that do
not exceed 50 volts peak-to-peak amplitude.
Overrange signals will be clamped. This
range is used for general voltage
measurements including power supplies.
SENSe[3/4]:RANGe {5, 50} (volts/Div)
Impedance Pulse, Mod & Stat Select external trigger channel input
(Toggle) 1 Megohm, 50 Ohms terminating resistance
The 1 Megohm input impedance is for use
with an oscilloscope 10:1 divider probe and
for general use.
The 50 Ohm input impedance is used when
maximum trigger bandwidth is needed or
when cable reflections are a problem. It
should not be used if voltages in excess
of 7 volts r.m.s. are likely to occur.
SENSe[3/4]:IMPedance {1, 50}
(1Mohm or 50 Ohm)
Peak Hold Pulse & Mod Turns Peak Hold function on and off Figure 4-23.
(Toggle) Off, On Ext Trig # > Extensions
The Peak Hold function is used to hold
peak measurement values until reset. When
Peak Hold is Off, the measured peak values decay at a rate set by the
Averaging function.
